VC LIVE | US-China Music Institute Bard College Conservatory Presents: "The Sound of Spring"

The program features works by Tan Dun, Bao Yuankai, Julian Yu, Li Shaosheng, and Wu Man

We’re coming to you from the US-China Music Institute of Bard College Conservatory of Music, in New York, for a special “Sound of Spring” Chinese New Year celebration.

For some works, performers play on traditional Chinese instruments such as the bamboo flute, pipa, and guzheng.

In addition to guests, the stream features The Orchestra Now — an ensemble made up of hand-picked instrumentalists from the world’s leading conservatories.
