VC LIVE | YCA Presents Vocal Recital "All Together Now"

Tune in on February 21 at 8:00 PM (ET) for a special YCA concert featuring ensemble pieces spanning five centuries of Western music

We’re coming to you LIVE from Merkin Hall at Kaufman Music Center in New York for a concert featuring YCA artists Chelsea Guo (soprano and piano), Daniel McGrew (tenor), Megan Moore (mezzo-soprano), Joseph Parish (bass-baritone), Erin Wagner (mezzo-soprano), and Steven Blier (piano). In collaboration with the New York Festival of Song, this special concert was created as a revamp of All Together Now from 2006, a program that showcases ensemble music spanning five centuries of Western music. 

For this concert, the artists will be performing works by Mozart, Emmanuel Chabrier, Libby Larsen, the Bobs, and more.

“For years I’ve been wanting to revive and revamp a 2006 program called All Together Now, an evening of ensemble pieces covering five centuries of Western music," Steven Blier, Artistic Director of NYFOS. "I just needed a cast of crackerjack musicians with inquisitive minds and a command of style—and voilà, there they were on the YCA roster! This quintet of my favorite young singers, fresh from conquering the world as soloists, was eager to do a project where they could sing with their colleagues. Musically they can do anything—and in this show, they will reveal the full extent of their artistry.”
