Dutch violinist Isabelle van Keulen will spend at least another three years at the helm of the Deutsche Kammerakademie Neuss am Rhein, having extended her contract as the Academy's Artistic Director.
A graduate of Amsterdam’s Sweelinck Conservatorium, where she studied with Davina van Wely, Vladimir Spivakov, Boris Gutnikov, and Sándor Végh, Isabelle is a former first prize winner at the Menuhin Competition and the Eurovision Young Musician of the Year Competition.
Van Keulen regularly performs and records with many of the world’s most respected orchestras and conductors, as well as serving on faculty at the Basel Music Academy, the Royal Conservatory of the Hague, and the Lucerne University of Arts.
Conductor Christoph Koncz has also extended his contract and will now serve as the Academy orchestra's Chief Conductor until at least the end of 2024, with the option to renew for a further twelve months at that time.
