Dutch violinist Jaring Walta has passed away – aged 78

Dutch violinist Jaring Walta has passed away – aged 78.

A graduate of the Amsterdam Conservatory, Mr Walta served as Concertmaster of the Residentie Orkest The Hague from 1970 until 2003 - and held a long term teaching position on faculty at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
