SAD NEWS | Soviet-American Violinist Lazar Gosman Has Died - Aged 93 [RIP]

Soviet-born American violinist Lazar Gosman has passed away - aged 93

Soviet-born American violinist Lazar Gosman has passed away - aged 93.

A graduate of the Moscow Conservatoire, where he studied with David Oistrakh, he served as Concertmaster of the Leningrad Philharmonic, Leningrad Chamber Orchestra and the St. Louis Symphony - and held a long term teaching position on faculty at Stony Brook University, in New York.

Our condolences are with Mr Gosman's family, friends, colleagues and students.
