Today is Georgian violin virtuoso Liana Isakadze's 70th birthday!

A protege of David Oistrakh, Ms Isakadze is a former prize winner at the Margaret Long and Jacques Thibaud, Tchaikovsky and Sibelius International Violin Competitions.

She served as long-term Concertmaster of the Chamber Orchestra of Georgia - and presided over a number of prominent European music festivals.
