Violinist Maria Ioudenitch Signs with Raab & Böhm for General Management
Austrian based agency Dr. Raab & Dr. Böhm will work closely with Opus 3 Artists, who will remain responsible for North, South and Central America representation
Maria Ioudenitch will be joining the likes of cellists Gautier Capucon and Julia Hagen, violinist Julian Rachlin, violist Antoine Tamestit, and pianist Sir Andras Schiff on Dr. Raab & Dr. Böhm's roster.
Born in Balashov, Russia, Ioudenitch moved with her family to Kansas City, Missouri, USA, when she was three years old. She completed her Bachelor’s at the Curtis Institute of Music and her Master’s and Artist Diploma at the New England Conservatory. This past year, she has been mentored by Sonia Simmenauer as part of Simmenauer’s new initiative, zukunfts.music. She is currently in the Professional Studies program at the Kronberg Academy, working with Christian Tetzlaff.
As of 2021, Ioudenitch won several first prizes in major competitions, including the Ysaÿe International Music Competition, Tibor Varga International Violin Competition, and Joachim International Competition. Her first album on Warner, Songbird, with pianist Kenneth Broberg, is scheduled for release on March 24, 2023.
Her recent engagements include performing with NDR Radiophilharmonie Hannover, the Mariinsky Orchestra, Lithuania Chamber Orchestra, and Utah Symphony,
