Violinist Stephen Miahky to Join Blair School Faculty and String Quartet
The Blair School of Music, at Vanderbilt University has today announced the appointment of Stephen Miahky to the 'Joseph Joachim Professor of Music' position – replacing long serving violinist Christian Teal.
As part of the role, Mr Maihky will also assume the 1st Violin chair in the School's resident Blair String Quartet.

Mr Maihky currently serves on the faculty of Bowling Green State University - and previous held appointments at Ohio and Cornell Universities.
He will replace Professor Christian Teal – who will stand down from the faculty after 42 years.
