Violinist Tasmin Little Awarded Birmingham City University Honorary Doctorate

British violinist Tasmin Little has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree from the Birmingham City University

It has been announced today that British violinist Tasmin Little has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate degree from the Birmingham City University, in the United Kingdom.

"I’m thrilled and honoured to receive an Honorary Doctorate degree from Birmingham City University …" Tasmin has said.

"I have so many wonderful associations with the city of Birmingham  … I have played for many years with the City of Birmingham Symphony … I am looking forward to this exciting day hugely," she has said.

Tasmin will be presented with her Doctorate from the University Chancellor, Sir Lenny Henry on July 24th at Birmingham’s Symphony Hall.
