The Vorarlberg Symphony has announced the appointment of 36-year-old British conductor Leo McFall as its new Chief Conductor
The Vorarlberg Symphony Orchestra, in Vorarlberg, Austria has this week announced the appointment of 36-year-old British conductor Leo McFall as its new Chief Conductor.
A graduate of Oxford University, Leo is a former finalist at the Salzburg Festival Nestlé Young Conductors Competition - and former 1st prize winner at the German Deutsche Dirigentenpreis Conducting Competition.
He has previously lead performances with the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Meiningen Hofkapelle, Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, Orchestre d’Auvergne, Oulu Sinfonia, Royal Scottish National and the RTVE Symphony Madrid.
