Finalists Announced at New York Young Concert Artists International Auditions - Including 2 VC 'Young Artists'

The 11 finalists have today been announced for the 2014 Young Concert Artists International Auditions, in New York – including 18 year old VC 'Young Artist' Zeyu Victor Li, from China and 14 year old VC 'Rising Star' Soo-Been Lee, from Korea.

This year's finalists are: VC 'Young Artist' violinist Zeyu Victor Li, VC 'Rising Star' violinist Soo-Been Lee, violinist Kerson Leong, violist Ziyu Shen, cellists Edgar Moreau and Sang-Eun Lee, pianists Daniel Lebhardt and Ka Jeng Wong, flutist Seiya Ueno and the Quatuor Zaide and Berlin-Tokyo String Quartet.

The final will be held on Saturday November 8th at Merkin Concert Hall, in New York City – with all 1st prize winners invited to join the Young Concert Artists’ roster – granting access to management services, career engagements, publicity and career guidance

Previous alumni include: Pinchas Zukerman, Ida Kavafian, Chee-Yun, Emanuel Ax and Murray Perahia – and VC ‘Young Artists’ Paul Huang, Bella Hristova, Benjamin Beilman, Ray Chen, Stephen Waarts and Hahn-Bin.
