Today is eminent Russian pedagogue Professor Zakhar Bron‘s 67th birthday.
Widely regarded as one of the most influential violin teachers alive today, he has served Professorships at London’s Royal Academy of Music, Rotterdam Conservatory, Musikhochschule Lübeck and the Cologne Musikhochschule.
His famed students include: Maxim Vengerov, Vadim Repin, Daniel Hope, Vadim Gluzman, Daishin Kashimoto and Mayuko Kamio – and VC ‘Young Artists’ Fedor Roudine, Erzhan Kulibaev, Itamar Zorman, Clara-Jumi Kang and Soyoung Yoon.
