A protege of Dorothy DeLay, Professor Zakhar Bron and Nam Yun Kim, she is a former prize winner at the Tibor Varga, Seoul, Hannover, Sendai and Indianapolis International Violin Competitions
The daughter of two professional opera singers, Clara-Jumi made her orchestral debut at age 5, and her recording debut at just 9 – recording the Beethoven Triple Concerto with her siblings
She currently performs on the 1683 'Ex-Gingold' Stradivarius, and is set to make her Carnegie Hall debut in May of this year
