Three 1st Prizes Announced at Young Concert Artists' Asian Auditions
Three 1st prizes have today been announced at the Young Concert Artists' Asian Auditions, in Seoul - 20 year old Korean cellist Sang-Eun Lee, 16 year old Korean violinist Yoo-Min Seo and 23 year old Chinese pianist Ka Jeng Wong.
Each winner will be brought to New York City to participate in the final rounds of the Young Concert Artists International Auditions – from November 3rd-8th at the Merkin Concert Hall.
Young Concert Artists, Inc. is a non-profit organisation founded in New York in 1961 - which has launched the careers of many renowned musicians, including violinist Pinchas Zukerman, pianists Emanuel Ax, Richard Goode and Murray Perahia, the Tokyo, Borromeo and St. Lawrence String Quartets and VC 'Young Artists' Ray Chen, Hahn-Bin, Bella Hristova, Paul Huang, Stephen Waarts and Benjamin Beilman.
