Applications are now open for the 2020 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition
Applications are now open for the 2020 Concert Artists Guild Victor Elmaleh Competition – to be held from the 8th - 13th of October, in New York City.
The 2020 1st prize winners will receive 2 years international management jointly on the Concert Artists Guild and Young Classical Artists Trust (YCAT) rosters - including debut performances at both Merkin Concert Hall in New York City and Wigmore Hall in London as well as professional career development and coaching.
Additional prizes may include a Chamber Music America showcase performance - plus performance opportunities with more than 40 leading orchestras, concert series and festivals, including a New York showcase performance live-streamed internationally on The Violin Channel.
"It’s fantastic for young musicians to have both CAG and YCAT working together to mentor and create transatlantic opportunities ..." Concert Artist Guild President Tanya Bannister has this week told The Violin Channel.

Previous CAG 1st prize winners include the Pacifica Quartet, violinists Jennifer Koh and Joseph Lin, violist Jordan Bak – and VC Artists InMo Yang, Yoojing Jang and the Verona Quartet.
The 2020 competition is open to all instruments, voice, and chamber ensembles.
