The La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra will hold in-person auditions for Principal 2nd Violin on December 10, 2022, at La Monnaie, Leopoldstraat 23 – 1000 Brussels, 6th floor, at 10 AM with an arrival time of 9:30 AM.
The role’s gross monthly salary begins at € 3,383.80 to a maximum salary of € 5,805.07 , depending on experience levels. This salary also comprises 4% rights, meal vouchers, plus group insurance.

Founded in 1772, the La Monnaie Symphony Orchestra performs at La Monnaie, Belgium’s federal opera house that stages operas, concerts, recitals, and dance performances of international acclaim. The orchestra has been led by renowned conductors including Hans Richter, Felix Mottl, Otto Lohse, Wolfgang Sawallisch, Josef Krips, Sir John Pritchard, Christoph von Dohnányi, and Kent Nagano. Its current Music Director is Alain Altinoglu.
