AUDITION | St. Louis Symphony Orchestra — Associate Concertmaster and Section Violin
Applications for the Missouri-based ensemble are due on August 31, 2022
The St. Louis Symphony Orchestra, which is based in Missouri, is holding auditions for the position of Associate Concertmaster, as well as for five Section Violin positions.
Celebrated for its warm and engaging sound, prolific and acclaimed recording history, national and international touring activities, and distinctive commitment to educational and community outreach efforts, the St. Louis Symphony is now in its 143rd season. They are America's second oldest orchestra, and are currently directed by Stéphane Denève.
The minimum salary offered by the St. Louis Symphony is currently $98,303.88, as well as pension contributions. The orchestra may also be able to provide some reimbursement for relocation expenses.
The preliminary auditions take place on Monday 3 October, Monday 10 October, and Monday 21 November, with semi-final and final auditions to follow on 23 and 24 January. All applications should be received by August 31, 2022.
