AUDITION | Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra — Tutti First Violin

First-round video submission applications are due on October 10, 2022, while live second and third round auditions will be held in Stockholm, Sweden, on January 30, 2023

Auditions for the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra (SRSO) will be in three rounds. The first round is an unedited and continuous video submission due on October 10, 2022 with the application. Qualified first-round candidates will play in the second and third rounds on January 30, 2023, in Stockholm. This position offers a full-time permanent contract.

Currently led by Music Director Daniel Harding, the SRSO principally performs in Stockholm’s Berwald Hall and has concerts broadcast on the Swedish Radio-P2 network and Swedish television. Regularly on international tours, the SRSO have been joined by noted soloists including Joshua Bell, Yuja Wang, and Isabelle Faust.
