AUDITION | Teatro alla Scala — Tutti Violin

Applications for the Italian opera orchestra are due on September 10, 2022

Milan's Teatro alla Scala is recruiting for the position of Tutti Violin.

La Scala is regarded as one of the leading opera and ballet theaters globally. Most of Italy's greatest operatic artists, and many of the finest singers from around the world, have appeared there. It is home to the La Scala Theatre Chorus, La Scala Theatre Ballet, La Scala Theatre Orchestra, and the Filarmonica della Scala orchestra.

Candidates should prepare the exposition of the first and second movements of a Mozart concerto (with cadenza), as well as a second concerto from Beethoven through to the present day. They will also be required to play excerpts from the operatic repertoire.

The salary for the role currently stands at €57,438.
