Today is VC ‘Artist’ Bulgarian violin virtuoso Bella Hristova’s 30th birthday.
A graduate of the Curtis Institute of Music, Bella is a former 1st prize winner at the Michael Hill International Violin Competition and the Young Concert Artists International Auditions.

A recipient of a prestigious 2013 Avery Fisher Career Grant, she lists teachers Ida Kavafian and Jaime Laredo as her two biggest influences to date.
Bella currently performs on the 1655 Nicolo Amati violin – once owned by virtuoso Louis Krasner.
