Hungarian cellist István Várdai's 1st prize winning performance in the Final of the 2014 ARD International Cello Competition

The then 28-year-old István Várdai from Hungary’s 1st prize winning performance in the Final of the 2014 ARD International Cello Competition.

The candidates for the 2019 ARD International Cello Competition have this week been announced – to be held in Munich, Germany from the 4th to the 13th of September.

The Violin Channel, as the competition’s official online media and broadcast partner, will be providing streaming coverage direct from all venues.
