Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra Resumes In-Person Concerts
1 MIN READ
Beginning this month, the symphony will return with live audiences after an over year-long hiatus due to COVID-19
The four-week concert series, called "Spring Inspirations," will begin on May 13 at the Hilbert Circle Theatre in downtown Indianapolis. The concert will feature both pops and classical repertoire.
Featured conductors include Peter Oundjian, Krzysztof Urbański, and Joshua Weilerstein — along with repertoire by Beethoven, Joseph Boulogne Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Ravel, Stravinsky, and more.
Mask mandates will be put into place, as well as limited capacity, social distancing, and the elimination of intermissions.
Concerts will also be available for viewing via live stream.
