Today is American jazz trumpeter and composer Wynton Marsalis’ 57th birthday.

Mr Marsalis is the recipient of 9 Grammy Awards and a Pulitzer Prize for Music.

He recently composed a series of jazz-inspired cadenzas for Mozart's 3rd Violin Concerto in G Major.
