Finalists Announced at American Klein String Competition

The 3 finalists have been announced at the 2015 Irving M Klein String Competition, in San Francisco.

The 2015 Finalists are:

• 17 year old cellist, Oliver Herbert
• 15 year old violinist Isabella Perron
• 16 year old violinist Emily Shehi

The final will be held on the 7th June - with the 1st Prize winner to receive US $5,000 and a number of important American performance opportunities.

Open to string players asked 15 to 23, it is widely recognised as one of America's most important development prizes.

Previous 1st prize winners include, violinists Jennifer Koh, Vadim Gluzman and VC 'Artists' Tessa Lark and Nikki Chooi.
