American violinist Naira Cola has passed away - aged just 37

American violinist Naira Cola has passed away - aged just 37.

A graduate of the Mannes School of Music, New York University and the Juilliard School, where she studied with Sally Thomas and Ann Setzer, Naira had served as a 1st violinist with the Jacksonville Symphony, in Florida, since 2013 - and had held a long time position as Artistic Director of the Four Strings Academy in Lexington, Massachusetts.

Throughout her career she had taught hundreds of students in the Brooklyn and New York Metropolitan area.

A gofundme.com campaign has been set up by Naira's family and friends to assist with funeral expenses.
