Canada's National Arts Centre Orchestra Announces New Guest Conductor, Post-Zukerman

The National Arts Centre Orchestra, in Ottawa, Canada have today announced the appointment of Maestro John Storgårds as their new Principal Guest Conductor – effective September 1st, 2015.
Maestro Storgårds, 51 currently serves as Chief Conductor of the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra.
“I’m thrilled that distinguished Finnish conductor John Storgårds has accepted this post. I admire his work and look forward to his exciting artistic contribution,” NAC Orchestra Music Director Alexander Shelley has said.
In March 2012, the NAC Orchestra announced the schedule conclusion of Maestro Pinchas Zukerman's Music Directorship at the conclusion of the 2015 season.
