New York's Salon de Virtuosi Announces 2021 Career Grant Recipients

VC Artist Ulysses Quartet and VC Young Artist Kevin Zhu are among the recipients

Charlotte White's Salon de Virtuosi, in New York City, announced the seven recipients of their 2021 Salon de Virtuosi Career Grants.

  • Violinist Randall Goosby

  • Cellist Sterling Elliott

  • Pianist Llewellyn Sanchez-Werner

  • Pianist Elliot Wuu

  • Quartet Amabile

 

Supporting emerging international talents since 1995, Salon de Virtuosi (SDV) has endowed these young artists with over $500,000 in grants.

SDV's 2021 Gala Awards Concert will be performed live at Merkin Concert Hall on October 14, 2021.

Previous grant recipients include violinists Philippe Quint and Karen Gomyo, pianists Joyce Yang, Drew Petersen and Conrad Tao — and VC Artists Yesong Sophie Lee, Zlatomir Fung, Minami Yoshida, Josef Spacek, Paul Huang and the Aizuri Quartet. Additional winners include VC Young Artists Nathan Meltzer and Moné Hattori, plus VC Rising Stars Hina Khuong-Huu and Fiona Khuong-Huu.
