Naxos Records has announced the release of Polish violinist Piotr Plawner's new album: 'Philip Glass'.

Recorded with conductor Philippe Bach, the Berner Kammerorchester and pianist Gerardo Vila, the disc features American composer Philip Glass' 2nd Violin Concerto 'American Four Seasons' - coupled with his Violin & Piano Sonata.

''I have been performing the music of Philip Glass for over 10 years now ..." Piotr has told The Violin Channel.

"In my opinion, 'The American Four Seasons' is one of the most significant works of recent years ... I feel increasingly connected with the very unique meditative energy of this music," he has said.
