New Documentary Based on 'Lipinski' Stradivarius Violin Robbery to Be Released

A new documentary film, based the robbery of the 1715 'Lipinski' Stradivarius Violin in 2014, is set to be released
It has been announced this week that a new feature-length documentary film, based the robbery of Milwaukee Symphony Concertmaster Frank Almond’s Stradivarius violin in 2014, is set to be released in April of this year at New York's Tribeca Film Festival.
Entitled Plucked, and directed by acclaimed journalist and cinematographer Joel Van Haren, the documentary is set to follow the taser attack and theft of the 1715 'Lipinski' Stradivarius and subsequent 9-day police investigation and recovery.
Plucked will premiere on April 28th at the Festival - with potential international release to then follow.
