Zakhar Bron Students Sweep Novosibirsk Competition Prizes
All five 1st prize winners are current students of Jury chair, Professor Zakhar Bron
The Junior and Senior prize winners have today been announced at the Novosibirsk International Violin Competition, in Novosibirsk, Russia.
In the Junior Competition, joint 1st prize was awarded to Eduard Kollert and Paloma So.
Joint 2nd prize was awarded to Akbike Algi, Vyatcheslac Ermolaev, JeeYoung Park and Bogdan Tusufhanov.
In the Senior Competition, joint 1st prize was awarded to Elvin Ganiev, Ellinor Melon and Kyoto Ogava.
Joint 2nd prize was awarded to Dennis Gasanov, Eun Che Kim and Veronica Sveshnikov.
This year’s jury comprised: Zakhar Bron (Jury Chairman), Cihat Askin Ali, Baskin Elena, Valery Crow, Nails Alexey, Herald Kegelmann, Marina Alexandrovna Cousin, Michale Striharzh, Maurizio Shiarretta, Alexander Shustin and Sangvon Yoon.
All five 1st prize winners are current students of Jury chair, Professor Zakhar Bron or his assistant, Akiko Tatsumi.
Each of the Junior 1st prize winners will receive 50,000 Roubles (US $800)
Each of the Junior 1st prize winners will receive 65,000 Roubles (US $1000)
