Applications Open for Curtis Institute's Mentor Network Summer 2021 Sessions
Open to classical musicians ages 14-28, the online program offers mentorship in cello, clarinet, composition, conducting, flute, oboe, piano, viola, violin, and voice
Applications are now open for the Curtis Institute's Mentor Network Summer 2021 Sessions.
The sessions offer each student six 45-minute lessons via Zoom, three one-hour studio classes, three one-hour professional development seminars, and a Certificate of Completion signed by your mentor and the Curtis Mentor Network artistic director.
Session One takes place from May 24 to July 5 and Session Two takes place from July 12 to August 23.
This year's mentors includes Dennis Kim (violin), Jennifer Koh (violin), Melissa White (violin), Tien-Hsin Cindy Wu (violin), Teng Li (viola), Natalie Helm (cello), Wilhelmina Smith (cello), Rieko Aizawa (piano), Pallavi Mahidhara (piano), Anna Polonsky (piano), Amy Yang (piano), Natalie Zhu (piano), Sarah Ioannides (conducting), Daniel Felsenfeld (composition), Jonathan Bailey Holland (composition), Wang Jie (composition), Jonathan Beyer (opera), Rhoslyn Jones (opera), Alex Eastley (bassoon), Gabriel Kovach (horn), Katherine Needleman (oboe), Rob Patterson (clarinet), and Sonora Slocum (flute).
