Violinist Renaud Capuçon Announced as New Artistic Director of Swiss Festival

It has been announced today that French violinist Renaud Capuçon has been appointed as the new Artistic Director of the Sommets Musicaux de Gstadd Festival, in Switerzland.

He will succeed founder Thierry Scherz – who passed away suddenly in July of this year.

Renaud, 38 served as founder and Artistic Director of the La Ravoire Annual Festival, in France from 1996 to 2010.
