SAD NEWS | Decorated Lithuanian Conductor Saulius Sondeckis Has Died - Aged 87

Lithuanian violinist and conductor Saulius Sondeckis has passed away - aged 87.

He held a long-term teaching position on faculty at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre - and served as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor of the Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra from 1960 until his retirement in 2004.
