VC Artist Ioana Cristina Goicea Joins Iberkonzert Roster

Iberkonzert will represent Goicea exclusively in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America

VC Artist Ioana Cristina Goicea has signed with the Spanish artist management agency Iberkonzert for exclusive representation in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America. Based in Bilbao, the agency also represents violinists Alexandre da Costa and Franziska Pietsch.

A major prizewinner at the Johannes Brahms, Andrea Postacchini, Valsesia Musica, Fritz Kreisler, Indianapolis and Queen Elisabeth International Violin Competitions, Goicea was awarded First Prize at the 2017 edition of the Michael Hill International Violin Competition, in Auckland, New Zealand.

Hailing originally from Romania, Goicea is a graduate of the Leipzig University of Music, the Rostock University of Music, and the Hochschule für Musik in Hannover, where she studied with Krzysztof Wegrzyn, Mariana Sirbu and Petru Munteanu.

"Big news!" Goicea wrote on social media. "[I am] happy to be represented from now on by the amazing agency Iberkonzert for Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
