The Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester, in Rochester, New York has this week announced the appointment of VC Artist Itamar Zorman to its violin teaching faculty – effective from the commencement of the 2019-2020 academic year.

“I am excited and honored to be joining the faculty at Eastman … one of my most significant mentors, Sylvia Rosenberg, taught at Eastman – so for me there is also a feeling of closing a circle …” the 34-year-old violinist has said.

“I am looking forward to collaborating with other members of the faculty, and hope that our work with the students will help them grow as musicians and broaden their horizons as artists and human beings,” he has said.
