Applications are to now open to apply for the VC Young Artists LGT Young Soloists – a string ensemble comprised of highly gifted young string soloists from more than 15 nations across the world.
Founded by violinist Alexander Gilman and pianist Marina Seltenreich in collaboration with the LGT Private Bank, in Switzerland, applications are being accepted worldwide from outstanding young violinists, violists, cellists and bassists, aged 12 to 21, to join the LGT Young Soloists ensemble.
“Each student receives valuable international experience and career development by performing worldwide regularly and recording on a major record label as a soloist, chamber and orchestral musician …” Alexander has told The Violin Channel.
“Many of the musicians will also be given the rare opportunity to perform on top-level instruments by masters such as Stradivari and Guarneri del Gesu … provided on generous loan to our musicians by our incredible network of sponsors and supporters …” he has said.
“Our members are not only outstanding musicians, but also are familiar with the industry through their established network and musical experience.”
