LIVE FROM THE LARISSA AMPHITHEATER AND THE STAVROS NIARCHOS CULTURAL CENTER - IN ATHENS

Today’s concert, streamed from the ancient amphitheater of Larissa and the new Stavros Niarchos Cultural Center, in Athens, features violinists Sean Lee, Danbi Um, Aaron Boyd and Arnaud Sussman, violists VC Artist Matthew Lipman and Paul Neubauer, cellists Dmitri Atapine and David Finckel, flutist Tara Helen O'Connor and mezzo-soprano Emily D’Angelo performing Debussy’s ‘Syrinx’, Ravel’s ‘Cinq melodies populaires grecques’, selections from Tsontakis's ‘Knickknacks’, Beethoven’s ‘Serenade’ in D Major - and Mendelssohn’s Octet.
