Violinist Jack Liebeck Appointed to London's Royal Academy of Music Teaching Faculty
The Royal Academy of Music has announced the appointment of British violinist, Jack Liebeck to the Émile Sauret Professor of Violin faculty position
The Royal Academy of Music, in London, has this week announced the appointment of British violinist, Jack Liebeck to the Émile Sauret Professor of Violin faculty position.
Émile Sauret was a significant pedagogue at the Royal Academy of Music at the turn of the 19th Century - in addition to having an influential performing and composing career.
“I am extremely honoured to take up the position as the Émile Sauret Professor of Violin at the Royal Academy of Music ..." Jack has this week told The Violin Channel.
"The role enables me to develop my teaching, about which I am passionate, but also to make links worldwide as an ambassador, attracting the very finest young musicians to study at the Academy, just as I did 25 years ago,” he has said.
