Italian violinist and academic Angelo Stefanato has passed away, at his home in Rome – aged 88.

A student of Vasa Prihoda, he served as Concertmaster of the RAI National Symphony Orchestra - and held as a long term Professorship at the Academy of Santa Cecilia.

Our condolences are with his family, friends, students and colleagues.
