25 year old Markiyan Melnychenko from Australia and 22 year old Dasol Jeong from Canada have been awarded joint 1st prize at the inaugural Oleh Krysa International Violin Competition, in Lviv, Ukraine

Joint 2nd Prize was awarded to Lev Solodovnikov from Russia and Ui-Youn Hong from South Korea

3rd Prize was not awarded

Both Marikyan and Dasol are current students of Oleh Krysa at the Eastman School of Music
