Today is Armenian-American violinist Ani Kavafian’s birthday!
A student of Ivan Galamian and Sally Thomas, Ms. Kavafian is a former 1st prize winner at the Young Concert Artists International Auditions – and recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Career Development Prize.
She currently serves a teaching faculty position at the Yale School of Music.
